July 2006
1-On 23 July Eden arranges an Eye Screening Camp at rural area Chitti Sheikhan . Total patients were 112.Medicine provided to all of them.76 were advice Cataract surgery.
2-Eden adopt a child for his education. Eden paid PKR3400 his Six-month school fees.
3-Eden gifted house wear products to an Orphan girl on her Marriage. Eden pays PKR
8700/-For house wear products.
4-Eden donated 2 bottles of O+ blood for a needy patient.
August2006
1-Eden pays fine PKR 45000/- of 10 prisoners.
2-59 free Cataract operations on 59th Independence Day of Pakistan. Eden pays PKR
135700/-
3. Special Day 14th AUG with Special Children at KFC. Eden pays PKR 70300/- for there Food & Entertainment.
All the Events of August were visited by our beloved Governor Lions Asad Ashraf alongwith VDG Lion Arshad Rauf , PDG Lions Tahir Majeed Kapur ,PDG Lions Sardar Ijaz and their teams.
12 members of Sialkot Eden Lions Club participate in 11th Installation ceremony of District 305 N2 at Changla Gali , Ayubia.
International Director Lion Kabeer Hussain awarded Sialkot Eden Club with Appreciation Certificate from Intl President Lion Jimmy M Ross.
September 2006
1-Eden donate PKR 100000/- for Earth Quake victims in shape of food for 50 families.
2-Eden arranged Eye Screening camp at District Jail Sialkot for prisoners (sentenced
Under Act 302). Total 230 Prisoners were screened. Medicine and Eye Drops handed over to them. 140 Eye Glasses were suggested and delivered to them. Eden pays PKR 34487/- for the Eye Glasses & Medicines.
3- Eden receives an Appreciation Letter and Diamond Pin from Imm Past President Lion Ashok Mehta by achieving positive net growth ending June 2006.
4- Eden arranged the house hold products, Sewing machine & Food (Lunch Boxes) on marriage ceremony of a Deserving girl. Eden pays PKR 22000.
October 2006
1-Eden Donated PKR 50000 to Sundas Foundation Blood Bank Sialkot.
2-Eden Donated PKR 100000 to The Light ( School For Special Children ).
3-Eden Donated RS 100000 to Aleem Welfare Pakistan (Eye hospital).
4-Eden distributed EIDI (Eid Gift) in 100 deserving children. Eden pays PKR 12200/-
November 2006
1-Eden is the first clubs in Pakistan on LIONS platform who DARE to take stand and
Arrange Dengue Virus Spray in different areas of Sialkot and distributed Awareness Broachers. This project is continuing till we cover the whole area of Sialkot.
3-Eden gifted house hold products to one Orphan and one Deserving girl on their Marriage. Eden pays PKR 17400/-
4-Eden arranges Peace Poster Contest at Govt Pilot School Sialkot.
5-Eden arranged a Diabetes camp on World Diabetes Day and distributed Diabetes awareness broachers. Eden pays PKR 6000 for medicines, Diabetes check and Awareness broachers.
6-3 DAYS Free Eye Camp at Aleem Welfare Pakistan (a permanent project of Sialkot Eden Lions Club) Cataract operations and medicine facilitate provided free of cost.
7-Eden paid PKR 1500/- to heart operated baby boy for monthly check up at Punjab institute of Cardiology Lahore.
8-Eden is going to operate a 3-year Burn Baby Boy from Lahore.Total expenditures (hospital, medicines, Doctor’s fee and patients traveling and lodging charges) is PKR 120000/-. We pray for a successful operation.
